Who is The Captain

Fixing Accountability

Who’s The Captain is a crusade and a call by the common man and woman to fix accountability against growing apathy by the establishment, the rich and the powerful elite and various vested elements of the society.

It is a call by the common man to end decades/ years of suffering, exploitation and getting used to the often-heard common exasperated sigh - ‘Life carries on’ attitude.

The common cause and interest of people are more important than the selfish motives, personal agendas, corrupt practices, casual attitude of the establishment (both government and private).

Inequality, unfairness, injustice and exploitation continue to be the bane of the commoners. This shall not be any more. The common man has the right to question – as to is in charge, of the things going the wrong way, who is accountable, who’s actions have culminated in the wrong being committed – Who’s the Captain after all? The Captain here signifies accountability, being in charge, the person who must receive the bouquet or brickbats at the end of the day.

Just as the Captain of the ship or the aircraft or the border post is responsible and accountable for everything – good, bad or ugly within his domain, similarly there is one person behind every action, every decision or every event which effects a commoner.  This person should be held accountable. The common man therefore stands up to ask the tough question – Who’s The Captain ?
